System Tech Inc grew by just ten percent in 2007-08 to post revenue of Rs 130
crore. Its enterprise business continued to grow by 200 percent this year. In
addition to deploying servers and storage products, the company started
providing services, especially those that were built around Microsoft products.
Last year the company singularly focused on services, which helped the
company to continue being in the Silver Club, albeit slipping a couple of ranks
below.
System Tech bagged two major projects from Tata Elxsi and SAP Labs, each of
which were valued at around Rs 50 lakh. Emerson was the major tie-up for System
Tech for the last fiscal for the network power and cooling solutions.
System Tech, which was completely focusing on the large level enterprises,
started making inroads into the SMB segment as well. It aims to be a complete
service-centric organization in next couple of years and will shed its image of
being a mere products trading company. The whole idea behind the plan to become
a service company is to climb up the value chain meanwhile continuing to provide
its products on an incidental basis.
