TAIT collects Rs 3 lakh for 26/11 fund

Mumbai: Mumbai-based Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT)
has contributed Rs 3 lakh for the cops who laid their lives down during 26/11
attack. The organization is still collecting donations and is expected to
collect Rs 2 lakh more for the cause. It is worth mentioning that 18 cops lost
their life during the Mumbai terror attack. At least 173 people were killed and
nearly 308 were injured during the attacks.

So far, major contributions were made by Xerox and 10 directors of TAIT. 'We
will wrap up the donation process shortly and deposit the total collected amount
with the Mumbai police bank account. We are expecting to touch the Rs 5 lakh
mark,' informed an optimistic CW Kadwadker, Spokesperson, TAIT.
