The third COM-IT Expo, held by Mumbai-based TAIT (Trade Association of
Information Technology) from December 10-13, at MMRD ground in Mumbai was
received well by the channel partner community and leading IT vendors in the
city. Around 90 stalls were put up during the exhibition that showcased brands
ranging from Cisco, Lexmark, Belkin, NComputing, Kingston, Kodak, Luminous,
Microsoft Software, Cisco, Computer Active, Computer Bazaar, Computer Depot and
Computer Society of India among others. DQ Channels was the official media
partner for the event The event was inaugurated by Rakesh Bakshi, Country Legal
Head, Microsoft and Partrick Mathias, Vice President, Cisco on Dec 10. Most of
the exhibitors were impressed with the arrangements and footfall registered
during the expo.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Praveen Dhoka, Media Spokesperson,
TAIT stated, "All the exhibitors were more than happy, in the manner in which
the event has been conducted. We have also received some feedback, wherein some
exhibitors expressed the desire to ensure bigger space for the stalls. Lot of
TAIT members have also shown keen interest to participate in the next
exhibition. We have taken all the feedback and will ensure even better
arrangements next time around. We might hold the next exhibition in the month of
October next year to ensure improved participation."
