TCS expands partnership with SAP

SAP AG has entered into an expanded global partnership with Tata Consultancy
Services (TCS) to enable companies achieve improved speed, innovation and
flexibility, from a services-based IT approach. TCS is the first Asian
consulting company to become a SAP global partner for services. The partnership
announcement was made at the ongoing SAPPHIRE '06, SAP's international
customer conference.

"Philips is investing heavily in SAP with TCS as our key partner,"
said Jan Boll, CEO, Philips Business Application Systems. "The global
partnership between SAP and TCS will help us extract the maximum value from our
investments as the two companies continue to work closely together."

As a partner, TCS and SAP will jointly invest in marketing resources and
strategic planning. TCS's services practice for SAP applications employs more
than 2,200 people worldwide with investments in building composite applications
powered by the SAP NetWeaver platform.

The company is strengthening its field teams serving SAP customers globally
and also is building competencies through investment in 20,000 training day over
the next two years.

TCS and SAP are developing a variety of services that address specific
customer pain points across many different industries and markets. The system
integrator has also signed up for the 'BPO Services Powered by SAP' program
and is building a platform to provide human capital management business process
outsourcing services based on mySAP ERP.
