Team Computers : An Eye On Video

Last fiscal, Team Computers' revenues saw a hike of 31 percent over the
previous fiscal to touch Rs 230 crore. A major portion of this growth came from
the SME and SMB vertical that pitched in 45 percent to the overall revenues. The
company also did well in the BFSI vertical, which contributed 30 percent to the
turnover with revenue share coming from projects that were deployed for banks.

HP, IBM, Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft were the top performing brands for the
company as Team went to add new products around software as a service (SaaS),
video­conferencing, audio conferencing and board room solutions. Among the top
performing regions, North and West saw major growth with nearly 44 percent of
the company's revenue coming from North alone, followed by 36 percent in West,
15 percent in South and the remainder from East.

On the software front Team concentrated on SAS projects. It also built a
reporting system for Royal Sundram, a Chennai-based insurance companies, to make
information visible for the client, besides helping it enhance its business
performance. In addition, Team also provided Reliance Consumer Finance with an
efficient information building and intelligence system.

It took a conscious decision of investing in manpower and added over 300
employees to take the headcount from 1,200 to over 1,500. Most new members were
added as delivery personnel, software developers, project delivery members and
customer support engineers.

Team went on to bag the DQ Channels Best System Integrator award this year
while its other major achieve­ments included securing the Best Metro Partner
(North) Award from IBM and Most Reliable Vendor Award from Reliance.

This year the solution provider is working on a project with Barclays Bank
that basically involves offering services around business intelligence.

In addition, the company has also geared up for the Commonwealth Games to be
held in Delhi in 2010, and will be offering videoconferencing solutions to
facilitate the successful organization of the event.
