Techgyan selected as Microsoft partner of the year

Mumbai-based TechGyan has been selected as Microsoft's Worldwide finalist for
the 2007 Small Business Specialist partner of the year award. The awards are
presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more
than 1,800 entrants worldwide. The small business specialist partner of the year
award honors those partners who are using Microsoft technology to deploy
innovative small business solutions.

The winning partner will have demonstrated innovation in deploying a small
business Microsoft-based solution (fewer than 50 employees or fewer than 25
PCs). The winning solution will have utilized key Microsoft products in the
small business solutions stack including Microsoft Windows Small Business Server
2003 R2, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Office
Accounting 2007, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Small Business Financials.
The partner recognized by this award will have demonstrated how it provides ways
for a small business to better connect with customers, partners and employees,
to manage business processes productively and to reply on dependable, flexible
and secure software.

TechGyan has two business units - networking services and Business Process
Outsourcing (BPO) services. The BPO unit provides off shore services to mid
sized businesses in the USA. The networking services unit provides end-to-end
technology services around Microsoft platform to small and mid-seized
businesses. Techgyan has also been nominated by Microsoft as partner area lead
for India in the category of small business specialists.
