Texonic's clean up drive with Kleinmann alliance

Chennai-based Texonic Instruments, a networking partner for
D-Link India, is now on the brand building route. It recently tied-up with
Germany-based Kleinmann for their cleaning solutions and is now looking at
marketing the product in India under its own brand name.

"We have an OEM arrangement with them and Texonic will
be the only authorized distributor in India for Kleinmann products. We are also
working on importing few more products (from Taiwan) which will be released
under our own brand name," said Nitesh Bhandari, Director, Texonic
Instruments. Currently, the company is evaluating two products-presentation
gateway and digital video recorders (DVRs), which will be launched shortly.

Bhandari is presently importing only Kleinmann cleaning wipes
for LCD/TFT screens in computers and televisions. "It is a
first-of-its-kind product, which is highly effective and non-smearing. It does
not have any alcohol content in it. We see a big market for this product as LCD/TFT-based
products are on the boom," he asserted. The Kleinmann cleaning wipes are
priced at Rs 300 and Texonic expects to sell more than 15,000 cans every month.

Texonic's go-to-market strategy with its own brand of
products is to engage key resellers in top metros. The company has tied-up with
Mumbai-based Sejutronics, Kolkata-based Eastern Comnet and Hyderabad-based Data
Systems to market its products. Incidentally, all these key resellers are
relatives of Nitesh Bhandari. As for Chennai and Bangalore, Texonic has its own
offices in the region.

In another major development, the company has signed up with
Mumbai-based Valrack to market their wide range of networking racks. "These
are high-end racks and we have tied-up with them for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry
market," pointed out Bhandari. Talking about presentation gateway and DVRs,
he said, "The DVR will have music, video, data storage and more - all in a
single-box."

Texonic will continue to be aggressive with D-Link and
Gigabyte products, while creating several new divisions and lines of business.
The company projects a quantum leap in business, with these new activities
coming in.
