The DQ Week Awards go West

The DQ Week, the voice of the IT channel across the country, held its fourth awards night for 2008 in Mumbai on Sep 15. Heavy rains could not stop channel partners from attending the awards night in its 10th year. The evening saw a host of industry bigwigs mingle with the top channel partners from the West.

Anil Pant, VP—Channel, Sify, lightened up the event with his presentation on Sify. Sify also took the opportunity to launch its thin client solution.

The event was backed by Traders Association of IT (TAIT), the top association in the country as per the DQ Channels-IDC 2008 survey.

The awards were presented to 39 channel partners who showed outstanding performance in the IT channel space. The first ever The DQ Week-TAIT award for Upcoming Entrepreneur 2008 was bagged by Umesh Mehta of Chipcom Traders.

The awards night was sponsored by Sify, D-Link, Digi-Link, MicroWorld, E-Scan, Epson, Gigabyte, Delta, Zen, and Digi Jet.
