Hard work, dedication and
customer satisfaction are the reasons for the success of K Computers.
For this premier HP partner from Andhra Pradesh, FY11 was all about
looking at increasing its offerings as well as targeting new
segments. The topline was strengthened by an equal contribution
across all 4 quarters from HP's storage, server and desktop
offerings. However, the focus throughout FY11 was more on increasing
the bottomline. K Computers also added Dell as its new principal and
forayed into managed services.

Infact the biggest
challenge was the availability and retention of skilled manpower
followed by collection of payments. With a freeze on adding
headcounts to maintain bottomline, delivery offer became a challenge
for K Computers.

Though it catered to both
government and enterprises, in FY11 SMBs contributed the highest
(40%) to its revenues. The success of K Computers was also owing to
its tie-ups with some leading SIs of Andhra for some major projects.
This has indirectly contributed to its growth throughout the year.
Infact, it found government a lucrative area notwithstanding the
'disturbed' political scenerio, for one, the central Government
projects were not impacted by the disturbances and they generated
enough revenues to sustain K Computers.
