QuantM witnessed a 15%
rise in its profits, thanks to its innovative offering around cloud
and managed availability. It launched its own cloud computing
platform, Qloud, which contributed 18% of the topline. Around 16%
came from the information availability, security, and management;
managed availability services (12%); virtualization (15%); data
center (12%); and the remaining from outsourcing, ERP on cloud, etc.
Registering consistency
throughout the year, QuantM had a considerable turnout of Rs 31 crore
in Q3, and Rs 28 crore in Q2, thus showing a healthy topline
achievement. With 58%, the major revenue was contributed from the
northern region. And SMB segment contributed most to its overall
revenue with 60%. It also set up a new NOC and started data center
operations from Gurgaon.
Some of its major projects
included multi-million dollar managed availability services deal for
an energy consulting firm; first ever private cloud back up as a
service and infrastructure consolidation at one of the biggest auto
group in India; and Remote Infrastructure Management of more than 10
sites in India for a large multiplex entertainment player. QuantM
also became SVI and SVP partner for IBM Software, New System X
Speciality Partner of IBM, HP Enterprise Partner, as well as achieved
NetApp Gold partnership. In FY11, the company also launched multiple
RIM services and exclusive QuantM cloud offering from its data
center.
