Having been able to
successfully roll out various business initiatives to meet the
consumer demands in the market, Ahmedabad based Sai InfoSystems
witnessed dynamic growth in FY11. One encouraging aspect is that a
large chunk of revenue contribution came from enterprise (46%), which
has been steadily rising, followed by government vertical 13%. Its
biggest achievement in FY11 was the partnership with BSNL to launch
its voice and video telephony over IP to its customers. In addition,
it bagged the National Knowledge Network (NKN), a mission mode
project of the Government of India for implementing a network
infrastructure. And, for execution of the first phase of this project
(National Mission for Education Through ICT), Sai InfoSysytem was
selected by BSNL (acting as the nodal agency) to connect 280
universities across India enabling a nationwide unified network.
Seeing the business conditions favorable this year, Sai InfoSystems
also opened new branch offices in Bengaluru, Bhopal, Pune and Kolkata
resulting in increasing its total number of branch offices to 10.
Further making its footprint stronger in the international market
this year, SIS is all geared up to enter the African market, besides
running its successful global operations in Hong Kong, Dubai and the
US. It is also going aggressive on its strategy on increasing the
manpower of the organization to an employee base of 800.

All these
initiatives and partnerships put the company in limelight and
resulted in bagging some awards from vendors and media companies
including the National Telecom Award for Excellence in Providing
Total Solutions, being an emerging convergence company and for
innovation in fixed line services.
