Impenetrable belief in God and the passion to stand at number one in all
walks of life has been the driving force for Rohit Kohli, CEO, Comexcell
Technologies on the tracks of success. Recognition and acknowledge­ment that he
has achieved, Kohli is the winner of The DQ Week 'Best Channel Partner' Award
for Kanpur since the awards inception six years age, is the outcome of his
dedicated efforts and full-fledged support of his family members. He always
believes in executing his responsibilities by abiding to his 'Three-H' policy
which comprises honesty, hardship and healthy relation­ship. He claims that the
success and reputation achieved by him with the establishment of his enterprise
Comexcell Technologies has been possible due to his congenial relationship with
his vendors and customers.

Kohli humbly credits his success to his younger brother who supported him
through thick and thin. “My younger brother, Himanshu Kohli, has given me
immense support since the beginning and without him I would not have reached so
far,” expressed Kohli. He considers his family to be his asset and the biggest
aspiration in life is his grandfather. “I have achieved great support from my
family members throughout my life especially from my younger brother and wife
who gave me all kind of support during the tough times,” remarked Kohli.

Surprisingly, having done so well in the IT industry, Kohli claims that he
had no formal background of this world and it was absolutely new to him. He has
done his schooling from St Georges College, Mussoorie and has pursued
specialization in small business development from College of Vocational Studies.

Recalling that phase of his life Kohli said, “I belong to a very small place
called Bindki, near Fathepur, where there was no opportunity to grow and
succeed. I came to Kanpur in 1995 after completing my studies in Mussoorie and
entered the IT business with the support of my cousin.” Initially, Kohli had to
go through a lot of setbacks as he had no IT background and the company was
started on a small scale with just two employees. There was already stiff
competition with the existence of a large number of channel partners in the
market. After making efforts for 10 months, success came to Kohli brothers in
disguise of a contract with Wipro and then there was just no looking back.

Being a down to earth person, Kohli wants to get involved into social
activities and help the needy. “Being a business­man, I am not carried away with
posh lifestyle and luxurious living standard. I always wish to help the needy
and believe that if my small contribution can change their life I will always
come forward to help them,” revealed Kohli.

Though he has a tight schedule and hardly gets enough time to spend with his
family members, he makes an effort to maintain a balance between his personal
and professional life. His hobby is watching TV and whenever he gets free time
he loves to take his family out for lunch, dinner or a movie. Kohli loves to
spend his holidays in Mussoorie where he has spent 12 years of his life and has
a special attachment with the place. “I feel nostalgic whenever I go to
Mussoorie,” said Kohli. His dream destination is Switzerland where he always
desires to spend his vacation, however, due to hectic schedule he has not been
able to go anywhere in the last few years.

He believes that he has still a lot to achieve and has miles to go ahead. He
is planning to expand his business avenues in other regions of Uttar Pradesh to
achieve more success and recognition in the field.
