Trend Micro to provide virus and spam protection for HP ProLiant servers

Trend Micro, Inc. has announced that Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging Suite for Small and Medium Businesses
(SMBs) v2.0 has been selected for pre-installation on HP ProLiant servers with Microsoft Windows Small
Business Server (SBS) 2003.

According to the press release, Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging Suite for SMB is an integrated antivirus and anti-spam solution for small
and medium-sized office environments with workstations, servers and Microsoft Exchange servers, and supports environments running Microsoft Windows
SBS 2003.

The release further states that solution providers who deploy Microsoft Windows SBS 2003 for their clients can benefit from the pre-installed
Trend Micro security solution, which requires less time and effort to install and deploy. Trend Micro
Client/Server/Messaging Suite for SMB is designed to scan and eliminate viruses within a company's network and can also 

block spam at the email server before it reaches users. A single Web-based management console makes it easy to manage and eliminates the complexity
of maintaining multiple security solutions.

Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging Suite for SMB v2.0 is expected to begin shipping pre-installed on HP ProLiant ML100 and ML300 series servers
in late Q3/ early Q4 2004, beginning in the US, the UK, Australia, and Asia Pacific (in an
English-language interface). Additional language versions are expected to follow.

The pre-installed 90-day license of Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging Suite for SMB v2.0 can be extended into the
annually renewed license by entering an activation code provided to customers upon purchase from
a Trend Micro authorized reseller.
