Last fiscal for Bangalore-based Value Point Systems it was all about adding
'value to growth'. Having achieved over Rs 100 crore in total revenue by
doing business in Bangalore city alone, the company achieved a big landmark in
terms of its business. With employee strength of 300, which it hopes to double
in the next fiscal, Value Point Systems focused on geographic expansion to a
great extent and opened offices in the US, the Middle East as well as in
Singapore. Within India, Value Point Systems opened offices in Chennai, Cochin,
Hyderabad and Mumbai. With an aim to go national, the company has plans to open
offices in Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Kolkata in October this year.

Within Bangalore city, Value Point Systems moved into a new state-of-the-art
15,000 sq ft office. With its headquarters in Bangalore and having four branch
offices and two representative offices across the country, Value Point Systems,
diversified into software development, BPO and knowledge outsourcing last year.

Building on its collaborations with HP, Cisco, Sun, Microsoft, Symantec and
APC among others, the company undertook the supply and management of large IT
infrastructure for three large budget airlines. Other significant achievements
included the implementation of three large green field projects with global life
science and pharma companies, government, education and the PSU customers.

With more than a satisfied customer base the company whose core business lies
in servers, storage, notebooks, printer solutions and services, has forged new
ISV partnerships with HP Procurve, Sun Microsystems, AMP and APC.

Aggressive solution and enterprise business focus seemed to be the key
factors that contributed to the growth in revenues of the company in the last
financial year. Increased numbers in the sales force of the organization, a
bigger product portfolio and increased reach into newer verticals also added to
the growth factor. A greater focus on system integration, services and solutions
business enabled the company to increase revenues to a great extent.
