VCMDWA organizes management seminar

Nagpur: In order to find ways to deal with recession, Vidharbha Computer Manu­facturers & Dealers Welfare Association (VCMDWA) held a management seminar for its members. The topic for the seminar was 'Managing Business successfully in the era of uncertainty.

Over 30 members and 15 staff members participa­ted in the seminar. The main agenda of the seminar was to deal with the stress that the employees are facing in view of the slowdown . “We hold seminars on a regular basis and even this time around we thought of helping our employees understand different ways of dealing with pressure emerging as a result of the slowdown,” shared Prashant Ugemuge, President, VCMDWA.

Global recession has taken a toll on the Indian economy and IT has been the most affected. Hence, it has become necessary for an organization, irrespec­tive of its size, to support its employees. During the seminar, Akash Agarwal, speaker for the event and member of VCMDWA, pointed out ways to overcome the recession and handle the pressure.

Agarwal spoke on various topics including flexibility within the organization, creativity, how to overcome laziness, success, belief in oneself, networking, rational decision making and maintaining the right attitude. For the benefit of their members, VCMDWA plans to hold several such seminars this year.
