VCMDWA's COMP-EX 2009 anticipates grand opening

Vidharbha : The Vidharbha Computer Manufacturers
& Dealers Welfare Association (VCMDWA) received a good
booking response after the announcement of COMP-EX '2009, its 17th annual
IT expo. The general body
meeting, which was attended by association
president Prashant Ugemuge; vice presient Hitesh Parikh; secretary Virendra
Patrikar, treasurer Prashant Bulbule, and executive member Vinod Verma
Executive, witnessed 40 percent stall bookings
within the first half hour. Later, there was a draw of lots to allocate
some prominent stall locations.

COMP-EX 2009 will be held from Jan 9-12, 2009 at Ladies Club Lawns, Civil
Lines, Nagpur. All the major gobal IT players will have their presence directly,
or through their channel partners. Apart from IT, leaders from telecom and
office automation industry will also showcase their latest product offerings.

Major brand leaders like AMD, APC, Apple, Asus, BenQ, Cisco, Compaq, Dell,
Digi-Link, D-Link, Emerson, Epson, Gigabyte, HCL, Hitachi, HP, IBM, Intel,
Kingston, Lenovo, LG, Linksys, Logitech, Microsoft, Microtek, Motorola, NEC,
Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, Tech-Com, Toshiba, Transcend, TVS-E, Valrack,
Viewsonic, WeP, Western Digital, Wipro, Xerox, Zebronics and Zenith will
participate in the event, according to the association officials.

This year the event will have a new layout, housing 24 pavilions, 86 stalls
with a cafeteria and help desk. COMP-EX expects visitors from segments like
corporates, MNCs, software companies, BPOs, SMBs, central and state govt
establishments, small office home office (SOHO), professionals and home users.
"In all, over two lakh footfalls are anticipated to witness the event and
also the launching of new products and schemes on offer," the association's
spokesperson.
