VCMDWA, Nagpur organized a unique event at Kasturchand Park Ground in Nagpur,
wherein the citizens were requested to pay homage to the martyrs of 26/11 terror
strike at Mumbai. With an appeal to 'Remember Nation Before Celebration';
Prashant Ugemuge, President, VCMDWA emphasized the need for a higher degree of
vigilance by the citizens because of the simplicity with which terrorists can
create a havoc with the help of latest electronic gadgets. The event was
attended by more than 1,500 people which included senior citizens, families of
VCMDWA members, leading business­men, journalists, govern­ment officials and
kids.

Vilasji Muttemwar, Union Minister-New and Renewable Energy, Govern­ment of
India, New Delhi lit the first candle and appea­led to the people gathered to
strive for fostering peace and harmony in the society. Virendra Patrikar,
Secretary, VCMDWA said a prayer for the martyrs. VP Hitesh Parikh, Treasurer
Prashant Bulbule, Joint Secretary Rajesh Saboo, Executive members Vinod Verma,
Dinesh  Naidu, Vishant Kothari, and many members were present at the venue.
