Vellore association elects new team

Vellore Association For Information Technology (VAIT) has elected a new team
for FY 2009. Every year the association conducts its elections in March and the
new team takes charge from the new financial year. CP Praveen, CEO, Vasavi
Computer Academy has been elected as the new President of the association.

The other office bearers of the association include AP Lokesh of System
Solutions as VP, C Arumugam of Intech Computers as Secretary, VN Dhanasekar of
APT Computer Technology a Joint Secretary and M Saravanan of Carewel Systems as
Treasurer.

S Dayanidhi of Scott Systems, B Kannan of Micro Systems and Sairam of Sriram
Computers have been elected as members of the Executive Committee of the
association. J Prakash, CEO, Prohard Computers is the Emergency Past President,
who will take care of the office on behalf of the current President, in case of
any emergency.

Praveen said that the new team would take up a few serious issues like price
parity and MRP.
