ViewSonic intros 16-inch LCD monitors

ViewSonic announced the launch of its 16-inch LCD monitor line in India.
VA1616w has an aspect ratio of 16:10. It comes with sRGB color management,
2,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (DCR), auto tune function and ClearMotivII
technology.

The model has been designed to cater to the growing demands of SOHO and
end-users. Speaking on the launch, Gautam Ghosh, Country Manager-India,
ViewSonic Technologies India said, “The launch is in line with our commitment
to provide quality display solutions to our customers. Keeping in view our
mission-Leading the Change, this particular model will also be aimed at
creating an LCD environment by further reducing the time gap in converting the
nation from CRT to more eco-friendly, power and space saving LCD.”

The ViewSonic 16-inch series displays will be available in India from May
onwards through authorized ViewSonic distributors. The displays are compliant
TCO and Energy Star, and are made with environment-friendly materials. They are
backed by a three-year on site warranty on parts and labor.
