Bangalore-based Vitage Technologies is looking to increase its investment and
expand its presence in the Middle East market. Giving details of the same, P
Rangarajan, CEO, Vitage Technologies said, "The Middle East is a booming
market and we believe that there is ample investment opportunity in IT
infrastructure space there. Investment into infrastructure projects has
increased exponentially in recent years in the Middle East and domestic IT
companies are able to get more number of deals. New data centers are also coming
up in this region and this has resulted in an increased demand for ICT products
and services in the region."
He further added, "Given the above said, there is a need for skilled
manpower resources to monitor and manage the IT infrastructure. In line with the
growth of this market, Vitage plans to strengthen its team and resources to
offer key IT services including managed services and infrastructure services to
various companies in the region."
Vitage Technology already has setup a 100 percent subsidiary in Sharjah with
a team of about 10 people, which it hopes to expand further in the coming
months. On the anvil is also further expansion into Saudi and UAE besides the
US.
"We are already working with local partners in the Middle East and are
also working to launch new solutions in that market. We see traction in the
verticals of manufacturing and real estate for new build outs and in BFSI for IT
operations outsourcing. We would provide customers with onsite, remote as well
as hybrid services, all of which are delivered through an integrated set of ITIL
framework based processes and enabling technologies," Rangarajan indicated.
