Planet VRT-401, a hardware-based, highly integrated VPN solution combining
high-speed, industry-leading routing technology with a comprehensive suite of
advanced, client-to-VPN gateway, LAN-to-LAN VPN solutions.

With the built-in connection wizard (DHCP, fixed IP, PPPoE, PPTP, SingTel
RAS) and VPN support (IPSec standards, including IKE and certificates), the
Planet VRT-401 is able to use the most connection types, and meet the most
demanding security requirements. For an overall network security, the VRT-401
integrates user access control and policy based plus SPI firewall protection,
offering high efficiency and extensive protection for the network.

With easy integration and full compatibility with existing network
infrastructure, the Planet VRT-401 comprises a four-port auto-sensing,
auto-MDI/MDI-X 10/100Mbps switch, a standard 10/100Base-TX WAN port and a
hardware DMZ port providing additional protection for both servers and LAN side
workstations. Utilizing 56-bit DES and 168-bit 3DES encryption, header
authentication, and Internet Key Exchange (IKE) access control, the VRT-401's
full IPSec VPN (virtual private network) capability provides complete data
security and privacy for access and exchange of sensitive data. Additionally,
the built-in VPN acceleration engine in the VRT-401 delivers outstanding VPN
tunneling throughout up to 100 independent VPN tunnels that can be established
simultaneously. The Planet VRT-401 offers the security and flexibility to make
fast and simple secure network connections.
