How does BigFix look at the Indian sub-continent as a market, and what is
your market strategy?

India is a very important market for BigFix on a number of levels. First,
many companies and organizations in India are deeply engaged with the global
economy and know that to be successful, they need to manage systems and security
at world-class standards. Second, India is a world leader in IT outsourcing and
managed services. Finally, many multinational companies run their desktop and
mobile computer management out of India. Attracting leading outsourcing and
managed services companies as partners here automatically puts us in contention
to have our products run on millions of computers worldwide.

The partners we announced recently-HCL Comnet, Paladion, and Wipro-are
cornerstones of our strategy in India. These companies are true trusted advisors
to their clients and their promotion of BigFix should be very influential.
Everything we've seen and heard indicates that our partners are very excited
about what we offer and how it can make a difference to their clients and their
businesses as a whole

As a company, how do you differentiate yourself from other competitors
in the market?

Our single agent, single infrastructure, single console technology enables
high performance system and security management at a level that differentiates
us from competitors. Our technology base enables customers to consolidate
infrastructure management functions and processes that were previously dispersed
across multiple tools. We also offer unprecedented speed-of-remediation,
real-time visibility into the actual state of managed assets, ability to manage
and maintain policies on mobile assets even when they are not connected to an
enterprise network. Also, BigFix has remained small, fast and light, and this
has become a big advantage to us with customers who are coping with giant-sized
management problems with minimum resources.

Terrorists are now using cyber space to plan and execute their terror
tactics. What is your solution?

Over the last few years, we have seen a shift from “hobbyist” style malware
designed to gum up as many computers as possible to targeted attacks focused on
money and doing real damage to infrastructure. No one can claim to make a
computer “terror proof,” but we can give IT departments outstanding visibility
into what's going on in their infrastructure, ability to close many security
gaps, and respond to incidents faster, more intelligently and effectively than
before.

Green seems to be really becoming an integral part of any CIO's shopping
list. Does your company have any 'green solutions'?

Our BigFix Power Management module has quickly become a best-seller for us
in the United States with customers that see green computing both as a social
good and as a way to save money by making every watt count in delivering
economic value from IT. It is a module that customers can quickly add to
existing BigFix solutions and instantly control power consumption by PCs at
enterprise scale. We firmly believe in 'green solutions'.
