Xerox India, a player in the document management industry, has announced the
appointment of Accel ICIM Frontline as its national service distributor in
India. This partnership is aimed at helping Xerox strengthen its service network
and enhance its customer support services across the country.
Given the success of its recently executed two-tier distribution strategy,
Xerox is replicating the two—tier model to create a similar structure for its
service network. As a part of this partnership, Accel will manage and train
Xerox India's entire service channel for its suite of office products, which
includes laser printers, DMPs and MFDs.

As part of the agreement, Accel will manage and resolve all warranty calls
within specified SLA, provide timely technical support and stock/manage the
inventory and required consumables for Xerox office products. In addition, the
distributor will rollout extensive training programs for Xerox India's channel
to enable them
to handle customer queries efficiently.
Xerox India's new Office Group Executive Director, Natesh Mani commented,
"I am confident that Accel will help us get closer to our customers and
provide them a higher quality of service than before." Accel's Chairman
and CEO, NR Panicker noted, "This partnership with Xerox will diversify our
client portfolio and create growth opportunities for both the companies. With
industry leading customer service practices and a wide national network, we are
confident of providing efficient customer support management for Xerox's suite
of Office products."
