Xerox India consolidates its color product portfolio

Xerox India has consolidated its color product portfolio, by announcing the
launch of two new color laser printers in the A4 category, the Xerox Phaser 6180
and the Xerox Phaser 6360. Both the printers have monochrome and color printing
as basic functionalities and are offered at affordable price points of Rs 38,650
for Phaser 6180 & Rs 94,930 for Phaser 6360. The color printers are targeted
at the SMB segment and will help drive adoption of "color in the
office" space.

Some of the key feature of Xerox Phaser 6180 and Xerox Phaser 6360 include:

The Xerox Phaser 6180 is targeted at small and medium businesses and offers
batch printing, which enables people to put together multiple files and treat
them as a single print job. The Xerox Phaser 6180 is a single-pass color A4
laser printer that is very easy to use. It offers a color printing speed of 20
ppm and a monochrome printing speed of 26 ppm and a duty cycle of 60,000 pages.
The Xerox Phaser 6180 also offers True Adobe PostScript 3 as a standard offering
and is also Windows Vista compatible.

The Xerox Phaser 6360 is built to be used in a shared environment. The
printer has a printing speed of 40 ppm for both color and monochrome printers.
It is a single-pass Color A4 laser printer that offers color laser printing. The
printer offers the first print out time of 9 seconds and can print on different
kinds of media, ranging from paper, to transparencies, labels, envelopes,
cardstock and business cards and offers a resolution of 2400 dpi with a duty
cycle of 1,00,000 pages

Sharing details about the newly launched printers in India, Princy Bhatnagar,
