Xerox introduces six printers and two MFDs

Xerox Modicorp launched six network laser printers and two multi-function
devices. The new products include the Phaser 3121, 3420 and 4500 laser
monochromes, priced at Rs 12,800, Rs 40,000 and Rs 90,000 respectively. The
other new additions include Phaser 6100, 7750 and 8400 color lasers priced at Rs
75,000, Rs 4,75,000 and Rs 1,50,00 respectively.

The two multifunction products, M15 and PE-16e are priced at Rs 47,500 and Rs
26,500 respectively and have been launched to meet the growing demand for
entry-level multi-function devices in the market.

Phaser 6100 is reportedly 25% faster than any competing products in this
range. The company claims that the 7750 is the fastest printer for complex color
with a printing speed of 35 ppm and a resolution of 1200 dpi.

The Phaser 8400 is a colour printer targeted at the fast growing color
segment and is differentiated by its ability to print 24 colour and black and
white pages per minute. The 4500, 3420 and 3121 are laser monochromes with 36,
21 and 17 ppm speeds respectively.

Of the new multi-function devices, the M-15 is a 15 ppm 2-1 device which can
copy and print and is network-capable. Likewise, the PE-16e is a compact 3 in 1
device that can print, copy and scan.
