Xerox launches color laser for small and mid-sized offices

Xerox Modicorp Ltd ahs announced the launch of Xerox Phaser 6100, a color laser printer targeted at small and mid-sized offices. With a color speed of
5ppm and 21 ppm in black, the Xerox Phaser 6100 is available in two configurations, Phaser 6100BD, a basic model with duplex printing as
standard, with estimated street price of Rs 52,500 and Phaser 6100DN, a network model with Duplex as standard with a street price Rs 62,500.

Xerox Phaser 6100 offer features like 64 MB memory and a resolution of 1200 dpi. It offers cost-saving features such as two-sided printing standard and
an ultra fine high-capacity toner to decrease cost per print and increase uptime. The Xerox Phaser 6100 can support virtually any office environment,
delivering both Parallel and Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 interfaces and operates at only 48 dB. A networked configuration is available for customers
needing to provide print capabilities for several people. The Xerox Phaser 6100 also has features like PrintingScout, that provide instant, on-screen
instructions when the printer needs attention throughout the entire print job, on-line tech support for troubleshooting to get you back to work fast
and CentreWare IS, an embedded Web server which allows easy management through any web browser. The Phaser 6100 is available through the Xerox
national and regional distributors across India. Other key features include maximum duty cycle up to 35,000 pages per month and booklet printing.
