XServe goes the retail way

XServe India has finally taken the retail plunge to ensure wider availability of its products among customers. In this direction,Â
the company has started signing up with leading retail outlets across the country. In
Bangalore, it has tied up with William Penn  for its Apacer and S-Media range
of lifestyle products. “William Penn is one of the well-located show rooms with a
prestigious clientele and we are very happy to sign up with them for our life style products” says Rahul Gupta, MD, Xserve
India. 

The company offers a range of digital life style products from Apacer and S-Media. Currently through this retail outlet, itÂ
would offer products like MP3 players, business card scanners, USB storage drives, flash cards for
digital cameras, camcorders, mobile phones and PDAs . “Later we shall add mini hard disk-based portable MPEG 4 viewers, Pocket PC,Â
and held devices, notebook accessory kits and so on,” informs Rahul.

For William Penn, which is an up-market stationery shop, this tie-up adds a significant technology facet to its identity. “We are
very excited about adding such high class life style products at our retail outlets, as it
synchronizes with our initiatives of assisting people to get better organized, reasons Nikhil
Rajan, President, William Penn. He adds that the outlets command a very advanced and well-traveled customer base and that
they will find availability of such products at the stores to be very convenient to shop from.
