By focusing on providing differentiated
solutions that enable the theme of 'multi-service transformation',
ZyXEL introduced the OSGi multi-service DSL Gateway Solution to help
service providers and carriers with the capabilities to develop a
variety of new services to satisfy the increasing demands from
end-users. It allows them to extend more future-proof, multi-service
offerings for business exploration and growth. Hence, service
providers are able to stay ahead of the competition with leading
differentiations by providing end-users with value-added and
personalized services.

To underline the role as an enabler for
multi-service applications, ZyXEL introduced more all-in-one
integrated multi-service gateways that support emerging OSGi
service-on-demand applications, including home automation, smart grid
and MLBS (Mobile Location-Based Services). A smart grid allows
customers to save energy and reduce costs. ZyXEL's OSGi Gateway
with ZigBee/Z-Wave control gateway function supports many
ZigBee/Z-Wave smart meters that help consumers easily build an
energy-efficient 'home grid'. The MLBS facilitates the tracking
services of people and personal assets. ZyXEL's device supports
MLBS to send GPS/GSM tracking information via SMS or e-mail to the
receiver. Both of these emerging applications boost and strengthen
new business opportunities for service providers.

As the world's leading Internet
solutions provider, ZyXEL continues in its endeavors in developing
high performance FTTx solutions to help service providers and
carriers extend more future-proof multi-service offerings for
business exploration and growth. ZyXEL's wide range of FTTx
solutions, that include Gigabit active fiber, GPON, GEPON, VDSL2 30a,
G.SHDSL/bis EFM, provide telco operators and service providers with
more valuable services at higher cost-effectiveness.

The continual growth of the global
Internet will soon force service providers to face the inevitable
transition from IPv4 to IPv6. As the world's first vendor to obtain
an IPv6 Ready Logo Phase II for its VDSL2 switches and CPE/IAD
products, ZyXEL will demonstrate other IPv6 products at the
exhibition that confirm ZyXEL commitment to supporting customers in
completing their migration from IPv4 to IPv6 flawlessly at minimal
effort.
