Belding India expands modular data centre business into North America

Belding India has entered into a strategic partnership with a US-based technology distribution and OEM supply partner to expand its modular data centre business across North America.

Under the partnership, the US-based partner will exclusively market, distribute, integrate and support Belding’s modular data centre systems across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The collaboration will cover complete modular data centre solutions, including associated controls, components, spare parts and accessories. These solutions will be supplied under Belding’s own brand as well as on an OEM/ODM basis.

The partnership is part of Belding’s international expansion strategy and is intended to provide the company with a platform to take its India-engineered modular data centre capabilities to customers across North America.

Partnership targets modular data centre expansion

Belding operates across both ODM and OEM models. The company designs and builds infrastructure solutions while also engineering systems based on customer-specific requirements.

Its integrated engineering and manufacturing capabilities are focused on modular, scalable and deployment-ready data centre infrastructure.

Belding said the partnership will support its expansion across three North American markets while allowing its modular data centre systems to be marketed and supported through its distribution and OEM supply partner.

The company operates an integrated engineering ecosystem across five specialised business verticals.

Its Edge & Modular Data Centre Division designs and delivers integrated, deployment-ready edge and modular data centre solutions. The Energy Storage Division develops Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for mission-critical applications.

Belding’s Defence Technology Division provides mobile data centres and unmanned aerial systems for strategic infrastructure. Its Security Technology Division develops indigenous X-ray baggage, vehicle-mounted and cargo scanning solutions.

The company’s Precision Engineering and Fabrication Division provides precision-engineered systems for heavy industrial manufacturing, critical infrastructure and specialised OEM production.

The company said the strategic partnership forms part of its broader international expansion plans. The release does not disclose the name of the North American partner or specific commercial targets associated with the agreement.
