Rashi Peripherals pushes embedded and semiconductor solutions at Electronica India 2026

Rashi Semiconductor Solutions is using Electronica India 2026 to showcase its embedded and semiconductor solutions, covering AI edge, industrial automation, robotics, security and surveillance, and memory and storage. The participation comes as the company prepares for a new phase in its semiconductor business through a joint venture with Restar Corporation.

Electronica India puts embedded solutions on display

At Electronica India 2026, Rashi Semiconductor Solutions is showcasing a range of technologies developed in-house for smart cities, industrial automation, robotics, security and surveillance, automobile and related sectors.

The portfolio includes AI Edge Solutions, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Security and Surveillance, and Memory and Storage Solutions. The company is also highlighting localized engineering capabilities, reference-solution development, techno-commercial support and value-added services.

This places greater emphasis on developing solutions around specific industry requirements and supporting their adoption in the Indian market.

Semiconductor tech gets a new India structure

Rashi's upcoming joint venture with Restar Corporation adds another dimension to its semiconductor strategy. Announced in August 2026, the JV is scheduled to begin operations in October 2026, with Rashi Peripherals holding 74% and Restar holding 26%.

The new company will be headquartered in Bengaluru, with Rashi transferring its semiconductor business division to the entity along with its step-down subsidiary in Singapore.

Restar brings technology expertise, global semiconductor ecosystem relationships and international presence, while Rashi contributes its distribution network, established customer base and market-execution capabilities in India.

AI edge and robotics shape the application focus

The technology showcase and the JV's target segments point to an application-led approach. These include automotive Tier-1 suppliers, industrial robotics, electronics manufacturing services, electronics component manufacturing services, enterprise surveillance, machine vision cameras, audio-visual solutions and home appliances.

Rashi's Bengaluru Embedded Lab is also positioned to support local design and technology adoption across automotive, robotics, AI edge and industrial automation.

Embedded and semiconductor solutions move toward localisation

The Embedded and semiconductor solutions strategy brings together technology, engineering and market support under a more localised model. Electronica India 2026 provides a platform for Rashi to demonstrate its existing capabilities, while the Restar JV is expected to add global technology expertise and semiconductor ecosystem relationships when it starts operations.

With a presence across five major cities, the new structure is also intended to support customers nationwide and address the evolving requirements of manufacturers.
