Ultra Shield MiP launch expands UltraLED AV push

The Ultra Shield MiP launch at InfoComm India 2026 marks a wider shift for UltraLED Displays, as the Indian professional LED display brand moves beyond screens into the broader professional AV ecosystem. The company has introduced its Ultra Shield MiP display alongside the new UltraLED AV Solutions portfolio at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

The move brings LED displays, conferencing, audio, wireless collaboration, recording and streaming into a broader portfolio aimed at professional environments. For UltraLED, the focus is increasingly on how displays fit into larger communication and collaboration setups.

MiP Technology Targets High-End Visual Environments

The centrepiece is Ultra Shield MiP, powered by MiP technology, or Micro LED in Package. The display is designed for corporate environments, control rooms, broadcast facilities, experience centres, luxury retail and premium public spaces.

With pixel pitches starting at 0.78mm, the display offers up to 1.63 million pixels per square metre, a 7000:1 contrast ratio and brightness of up to 1000 nits. It also supports a 3840Hz refresh rate, 16-bit grayscale and a 170° viewing angle.

Power and maintenance have also been considered. Common Cathode architecture enables average power consumption as low as 112W per square metre, while front access is designed to simplify maintenance. Cabinet flatness is specified at ≤0.1mm, with an operational lifespan of up to 100,000 hours.

UltraLED Moves Into Professional AV

The bigger portfolio shift comes through UltraLED AV Solutions, built around the idea of “Beyond Displays. Enabling Collaboration.”

The portfolio covers video conferencing, professional audio, wireless content sharing, recording and streaming, and boardroom and conference systems. These solutions target corporate boardrooms, hybrid workspaces, classrooms, training centres, government facilities, command centres, auditoriums and other collaboration spaces.

This expansion gives UltraLED a broader role in Professional AV India, where customers may need multiple technologies to work together rather than simply requiring a display.

InfoComm India Becomes a Key Showcase

UltraLED is participating in InfoComm India for the first time, presenting indoor, outdoor and customised LED displays along with its latest AV technologies.

The launches also build on the company's focus on locally engineered LED displays and its expansion through Experience Centres and the Ultra NEXUS partner ecosystem across India.

For channel partners, the development creates a wider portfolio conversation around LED displays, MiP technology and integrated AV requirements. Rather than limiting its proposition to visual hardware, UltraLED is now looking at the complete collaboration environment.

A Broader AV Proposition Takes Shape

The Ultra Shield MiP launch therefore represents more than a new LED display. It comes alongside UltraLED’s entry into a wider professional AV portfolio covering visual, audio and collaboration needs.

For enterprise, education and government environments, the company's latest direction places greater emphasis on integrated communication and collaboration. Its InfoComm India 2026 showcase signals an effort to build that broader proposition while strengthening its presence in India's professional AV market.
