Redington Liongard Asset Intelligence Partnership Expands in India

Redington Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Liongard to introduce asset intelligence and IT visibility capabilities for managed service providers, system integrators, and enterprises across India.

The collaboration adds Liongard’s automated asset discovery and configuration intelligence platform to Redington’s technology portfolio. The companies aim to provide partners with continuous visibility into IT systems operating across on-premises infrastructure, cloud environments, and hybrid deployments.

The initiative reflects the growing need for tools that can monitor complex digital environments as organizations expand their use of multi-cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and AI-driven systems.

Growing Complexity in Hybrid IT Environments

As organizations adopt cloud computing and digital platforms, their IT environments increasingly span multiple infrastructure layers. Enterprises now operate across on-premises data centers, public and private cloud platforms, and a wide range of SaaS services.

According to the companies, this expanding digital footprint requires visibility tools that go beyond traditional security solutions. Asset intelligence platforms help organizations maintain awareness of systems, configurations, and changes occurring across distributed environments.

Through this partnership, Liongard’s platform will provide automated discovery of assets, monitoring of configuration changes, and contextual insights into system relationships.

These capabilities allow IT teams and managed service providers to identify configuration issues, track system changes, and strengthen compliance processes.

Role of Redington’s Channel Ecosystem

The partnership will leverage Redington’s extensive partner ecosystem in India. The company works with more than 75,000 channel partners and maintains relationships with over 450 technology brands.

This partner network includes both traditional IT infrastructure resellers and born-in-the-cloud service providers. The collaboration aims to deliver Liongard’s asset intelligence capabilities across this ecosystem, enabling both enterprise modernization initiatives and cloud-native deployments.

Redington also provides services including pre-sales consulting, implementation support, and post-deployment assistance. These services are designed to help partners integrate new technologies and accelerate customer adoption.

Sridhar S, Executive Vice President, SSG at Redington Limited, said the company positions itself as an orchestrator of technology ecosystems that connect partners with solutions across the full IT stack.

He noted that as cloud adoption increases, the attack surface for organizations expands. In this context, automated monitoring and visibility across the IT estate become essential capabilities.

Asset Intelligence as a Cybersecurity Layer

Liongard’s technology focuses on providing a unified layer of asset intelligence across enterprise environments. The platform collects configuration data and system insights from multiple sources, enabling IT teams to understand how infrastructure components interact.

Unlike point cybersecurity tools that operate in isolated environments, the platform aims to deliver contextual insights that span multiple systems.

The companies stated that this visibility can help organizations detect misconfigurations, identify potential security risks, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Expanding Liongard’s Presence in India

For Liongard, the collaboration represents an opportunity to expand its presence in the Indian market through Redington’s distribution network and partner relationships.

Vivek Anand, Director of Sales for the IMEA region at Liongard, said the partnership provides the scale and market understanding needed to support enterprise adoption across the region.

He stated that the collaboration aims to equip partners with tools that improve operational efficiency while strengthening security and resilience across IT environments.

Supporting Digital Transformation Initiatives

The partnership is positioned within the broader context of digital transformation initiatives across India. Organizations adopting cloud technologies, AI systems, and hybrid infrastructure require tools that provide visibility across increasingly distributed environments.

By combining Redington’s partner network and service capabilities with Liongard’s asset intelligence platform, the companies aim to support enterprises and service providers managing modern IT environments.

The collaboration focuses on enabling organizations to monitor infrastructure, identify configuration changes, and maintain operational oversight as digital ecosystems continue to expand.
