Deloitte India RACE platform puts AI into SAP configuration

Deloitte India has launched the Deloitte India RACE platform, an agentic AI-powered configuration platform designed to change how organisations implement and configure SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.

Called RapidAuto ConfigEngine, or RACE, the platform uses generative AI, specialised agents and Deloitte India's SAP implementation assets to automate the configuration process. The approach covers the journey from capturing business requirements to executing configurations.

The move comes as organisations adopting SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud face a familiar challenge: balancing the need for faster transformation with the complexity of implementation. Configuration work can be time-consuming and specialised, particularly as organisations work within fit-to-standard models, limited customisation and clean core requirements.

RapidAuto ConfigEngine cuts SAP complexity

RACE is designed to address that challenge through an AI-led workflow. Its specialised AI agents work together to translate business requirements into SAP Public Cloud configurations based on Deloitte India's leading practices.

The platform's configuration engine is intended to help organisations move from business intent to implementation through a guided process. This includes generating user stories, process blueprints, configuration plans, validation checks and optimisation recommendations.

The larger idea is straightforward. Instead of treating configuration as a series of heavily manual tasks, RACE aims to bring more automation and structure into the process.

Agentic AI workflow automation meets SAP cloud

The platform is part of Deloitte India's INTEGRATE suite, which offers industry-specific solutions on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud that are pre-configured and ready to deploy.

Together, the two offerings are positioned to enable faster, more predictable SAP transformation, particularly for mid-market enterprises. Deloitte India says the combination can help organisations establish a future-ready digital foundation while gaining access to intelligent processes, real-time insights and AI.

For enterprise technology teams, the key takeaway is the shift toward Agentic AI workflow automation in ERP implementation. RACE is not presented simply as another AI tool. Its role is to connect business requirements, implementation assets and configuration activities through specialised AI agents.
