Epson AV-ICN Expo 2026 brings projection alive

Epson is using Epson AV-ICN Expo 2026 to showcase how projection technology is moving beyond traditional displays and becoming a core part of immersive storytelling, experiential spaces, and large venue digital environments.

At Stall 3B11 inside the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, Epson has built a large-scale immersive installation that transforms walls, floors, and even a central pillar into a continuous visual environment. The setup demonstrates how projection mapping is increasingly being used across entertainment venues, museums, exhibitions, live events, and corporate spaces, looking to create more engaging visitor experiences.

A Projection Setup Designed Around Immersion

The immersive experience is powered by 12 Epson EB-PU2220B 20,000-lumen 3LCD laser projectors with 4K Enhancement technology. The projectors are designed to deliver bright and sharp visuals even in large and demanding environments where image clarity and colour consistency become critical.

The installation uses seamless projection across four walls, the floor, and a centrally positioned pillar projected from multiple angles. This kind of high-brightness edge-blending laser projector setup reflects how projection systems are evolving from presentation tools into experience-driven digital infrastructure.

Epson says the solution highlights creative flexibility alongside operational reliability, two factors becoming increasingly important for venues handling continuous visitor engagement and large-format visual installations.

Compact Design Meets Large Venue Performance

One of the more noticeable trends in the showcase is the focus on compact high-performance systems. Epson’s large venue projectors combine up to 30,000 lumens of brightness with lightweight designs, interchangeable lens compatibility, and laser-based continuous operation.

The compact 20000 lumen laser projector specs are particularly relevant for event organisers and integrators managing complex indoor and outdoor installations where flexibility and installation efficiency matter as much as visual quality.

The company also emphasised its 3LCD technology and 4K Enhancement capabilities, aimed at delivering richer colours and improved visual sharpness across large immersive environments.
