InfoComm India 2026 spotlights Optoma India growth stratergy

Optoma is positioning India as a key market for its next phase of growth, with a strategy built around three areas: technology ecosystem integration, software innovation and expanded local manufacturing. The company plans to showcase this direction at InfoComm India 2026.

The shift reflects a broader change in how Optoma sees its role in enterprise environments. Instead of treating displays as standalone hardware, the company is working toward solutions that combine displays, software, device management and ecosystem interoperability.

Microsoft Integration Becomes a Key Piece

A major part of the strategy is Optoma’s participation in the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) community. The move is aimed at strengthening its ability to develop secure and manageable visual solutions for Microsoft-managed environments.

Through MDEP, Optoma is aligning future product platforms with Microsoft’s device, security and management standards. Interoperability, security, manageability and scalability are set to remain important priorities as its products evolve.

For enterprise customers and channel partners, this points to displays becoming more closely connected with existing IT environments rather than operating as isolated devices.

Optoma Builds Around Software and AI

Optoma is also expanding its software layer through the Optoma Solution Suite, including Optoma AI, and Optoma Management Suite. These tools are intended to turn displays into more intelligent platforms for communication, collaboration and management.

The roadmap includes AI-driven productivity tools, cross-brand device management and open APIs for ecosystem partners. The focus is therefore moving from simply delivering display hardware toward helping organisations manage connected visual environments.

This could make Optoma AI capabilities relevant not just for end users, but also for partners looking to build more integrated workplace solutions.

Made in India Expands Beyond IFPDs

Local manufacturing is the third major pillar. In 2026, Optoma expanded its Made in India programme beyond interactive flat panel displays, starting local production of projectors and professional display signage.

The company says this will support shorter delivery times, stronger supply-chain responsiveness and alignment with local procurement requirements, including availability through India’s Government e-Marketplace.

For partners, local production could also make supply and availability easier to manage while keeping quality checks aligned with Optoma’s global standards.
