Experion Technologies AI CoE signals a bigger shift with FDE Academy in Thiruvananthapuram

Experion Technologies has opened a 58,000 sq. ft. development centre at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, marking the company’s largest development centre to date. The Experion Technologies AI CoE will house more than 700 engineers and serve as the company’s AI Centre of Excellence.

The facility brings together three parts of Experion’s AI strategy: the AI CoE, the ARC AI-native product engineering operating model and the Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Academy. The focus is not just on adding space. It is on building engineering capability, developing talent and supporting global delivery.

Experion Technopark puts the AI Centre of Excellence at the core

The Experion Technopark facility will serve as the operational hub for ARC. Teams working across product discovery, engineering, AI model integration, deployment and continuous optimisation will operate through the AI Centre of Excellence.

The facility includes AI innovation labs, embedded IoT labs, rapid prototyping spaces, collaborative engineering zones and learning facilities. This gives engineers space to experiment, build and develop new skills while working on product engineering projects.

Experion said customers using ARC have reported project timeline reductions of 15% to 30%, along with improvements in development velocity, engineering productivity and time-to-market.

AI Centre of Excellence India gets a talent focus

ARC is designed to embed AI across the software development lifecycle, from product discovery and design to engineering, deployment and continuous optimisation. It is therefore positioned as an operating model rather than a standalone AI platform.

The other important piece is talent. The FDE Academy Thiruvananthapuram will prepare Forward Deployed Engineers to work directly with customers, identify business challenges, build AI solutions and deploy them into production.

Training will include AI labs, customer workshops, mentoring, hackathons and live projects. Engineers will also gain hands-on experience applying ARC across the software development lifecycle.
