GIGABYTE Technology has officially announced the global availability of its flagship AORUS GeForce RTX 50 Series INFINITY graphics card lineup.
Covering the GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070, the new series is engineered for power users, overclockers, and gaming enthusiasts seeking sustained computing performance paired with refined PC-building aesthetics.
As modern GPUs draw increased wattage under demanding path-traced gaming, 3D rendering, and generative AI workloads, thermal dissipation and chassis airflow management have become paramount.
GIGABYTE addresses these physical demands with its newly architected WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system, an intelligent Overdrive Fan mechanism, and a STEALTH-compatible rear-facing power connector that conceals internal cabling for minimalist PC builds.
WINDFORCE HYPERBURST: Thermal Engineering for Demanding Workloads
At the core of the AORUS INFINITY series is the WINDFORCE HYPERBURST thermal platform, designed to eliminate heat buildup across GPU silicon, VRAM, and power delivery stages:
- Double Flow-Through Design: A dual hollowed-out die-cast metal backplate creates an unobstructed channel, allowing air to penetrate both sides of the heatsink assembly to accelerate heat dissipation.
- Patented Hawk Fans: Drawing aerodynamic inspiration from raptor wing geometry, the outer Hawk fans decrease turbulence and noise while increasing air pressure by up to 53.6% and air volume by up to 12.5%.
- Intelligent Overdrive Fan: A specialized center-mounted fan operates on an independent curve, remaining dormant during standard usage and automatically triggering under peak computational loads to provide immediate cooling reinforcement.
- Vapour Chamber & Direct Heat Pipes: A direct-contact vapour chamber combined with superconducting composite copper heat pipes rapidly spreads thermal energy away from the GPU die and GDDR7 memory banks.
STEALTH-Compatible Hidden Power Connector for Clean Builds
To simplify cable management and prevent cable-bend clearance issues against tempered glass panels, GIGABYTE has relocated the high-power connector to the rear edge of the PCB.
This allows 16-pin power cables to be routed directly behind the motherboard tray inside STEALTH-compatible chassis.
A magnetic cover plate slots over the connector port, providing a seamless finish that complements the die-cast metal shroud, integrated outer light rings, and customizable RGB Halo illumination.

Expanding the design language of the lineup, GIGABYTE has also introduced the AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 INFINITY WOOD.
Designed to pair with GIGABYTE's wood-themed motherboard and liquid-cooling components, the edition incorporates authentic wood-grain-textured elements and premium materials into the shroud assembly, offering enthusiasts an alternative to conventional industrial styling for nature-inspired, boutique PC setups.
