Lumio Aura 5 brings Hi-Fi into everyday rooms

Hi-Fi audio often comes with a trade-off. Better sound can mean more equipment, more cables and a setup that feels out of place in an everyday living room. Lumio Aura 5 takes a different approach by putting the core features of a traditional Hi-Fi setup into a self-contained bookshelf speaker pair.

Lumio’s first home audio product is designed to work without an amplifier or receiver. The speakers combine real wood cabinets, dedicated drivers and multiple connectivity options while keeping the setup to a simple plug-and-play experience.

Lumio Aura 5 puts stereo sound at the centre

The Lumio Aura 5 uses dual 4.5-inch aluminium woofers and dual 1-inch silk dome tweeters across the two cabinets. Physical left-right separation is designed to create a wider soundstage than a single-cabinet speaker.

The system delivers 100W sustained output and 200W peak output, with a frequency range of 35Hz to 20kHz. It also supports lossless playback up to 24-bit/48kHz.

Lumio bookshelf speakers focus on flexible connections

For users moving between a TV, computer and other devices, connectivity is a major part of the product. The speakers support HDMI ARC, Optical, Coaxial, 3.5mm, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB for both PC mode and playback.

This gives the Active Hi-Fi speakers a wider role than a dedicated stereo setup. The same pair can be used across a living room, desk or other listening space without requiring separate equipment.

DGS tuning adds different listening modes

Lumio has also built three listening profiles into the system. DGS Studio focuses on a balanced sound, DGS Cinema emphasises dialogue and atmospheric detail, while DGS Groove increases bass response for more energetic content.

The system includes a Minion OLED Bluetooth remote, while an Android and iOS app is planned for later.

Lumio Aura 5 price targets the premium bookshelf segment

The Lumio Aura 5 price is set at Rs. 24,999 on Amazon India during the Amazon Great Indian Festival, with an early-bird price of Rs. 19,999 starting October 15. Additional bank offers will also be available.

The speakers come with a one-year comprehensive warranty, while the remote gets six months of coverage. Lumio says home service will be supported through its network of more than 300 service centres across India.
