Savex Technologies leadership shifts with Ajinkya Darne promotion

Savex Technologies leadership is taking a new shape with the elevation of Ajinkya Darne to Deputy General Manager, giving him a broader mandate across business growth, technology partnerships and the channel ecosystem. The move builds on more than six years of experience at Savex, particularly across its cloud business.
Darne’s expanded role comes as the company’s technology portfolio moves further across cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, AI and enterprise solutions. For a distributor, this shift also means working more closely with vendors and partners as technology buying moves beyond traditional hardware-led models.
Ajinkya Darne brings six years of Savex experience
Darne joined Savex more than six years ago and has moved through key positions in its cloud business. He most recently served as Senior Business Manager for Cloud Business and earlier worked as Business Manager for Cloud Computing.
His experience covers cloud solutions, SaaS, cybersecurity, enterprise sales, vendor alliances and channel development. Before Savex, he held leadership roles at Unlimit, a Reliance Group company, and Ingram Micro, adding experience in IoT, technology distribution, channel sales and vendor management.
That mix gives the new DGM role a broad technology and commercial base. It also places partner relationships and strategic alliances at the centre of his expanded responsibilities.
Savex DGM promotion comes as cloud and AI grow
The Savex DGM promotion comes against a technology channel that is increasingly focused on cloud infrastructure, SaaS applications, cybersecurity platforms and AI-powered solutions. The press release positions these areas as key opportunities for distributors to help partners support customers across the technology lifecycle.
Darne’s mandate will therefore extend beyond individual technology categories. His experience across multiple segments could help Savex strengthen engagement with technology vendors, customers and channel partners while identifying opportunities across emerging areas.
A wider role for IT distribution leadership in India
The appointment also highlights how IT distribution leadership in India is becoming more closely tied to partner ecosystems and specialised technology. As vendors rely on partners to take complex solutions to a wider customer base, strategic alliances and channel development become increasingly important.
For Savex, Darne’s elevation adds leadership experience across cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise technology and emerging technologies. His next phase will focus on strengthening these relationships while supporting the company’s business expansion across the changing technology distribution landscape.
