SkySecure Technologies Automates Enterprise SOC Operations with IBM watsonx

As AI deployments grow, cyber threats are evolving faster than human analysts can respond. This has put increasing pressure on businesses to rethink their cybersecurity strategy, as traditional security and Security Operations Centres (SOC) are showing their age. SOCs are struggling with high alert volumes, false positives, manual triage, Service Level Agreement (SLA) breaches, and dependence on large teams. IBM’s 2026 X‑Force Threat Intelligence Index found a 44% increase in attacks that began with the exploitation of public-facing applications, largely driven by missing authentication controls and AI-enabled vulnerability discovery.

While Indian business leaders cite cybersecurity as a barrier to scaling AI, existing SOC processes remain slow, inconsistent, and expensive, driving higher Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and operational inefficiencies. SkySecure Technologies, an India-based, AI-driven cybersecurity and managed services firm, recognised the need to build a scalable, autonomous SOC that can deliver 24×7 protection with minimal human intervention.

Enabling agentic AI capabilities

To address these challenges and to upgrade its conventional SOC models, SkySecure co-created solutions with IBM watsonx Orchestrate and IBM watsonx.data. The engagement goes beyond traditional vendor relationships to deliver an agentic AI-powered SOC platform that operates and governs agents at scale with centralised visibility, policy enforcement, and performance monitoring across the entire AI ecosystem.

The architecture deploys multiple AI agents that automate the full spectrum of SOC workflows: from alert triage and root cause analysis to remediation and stakeholder notifications. Through this engagement, SkySecure is now able to remediate and close low- and medium-priority incidents without requiring analyst intervention.

Suresh K., Chief Executive Officer, SkySecure, said, “As SkySecure scales its operations, managing growing alert volumes and maintaining SLA commitments without proportionally expanding our analyst teams was a real challenge. IBM's watsonx gave us the AI foundation to automate triage and resolution at scale through which we can now close most incidents without manual intervention. This has enabled faster go-to-market as the entire SOC is today managed using AI agents and runs autonomously.”

SkySecure’s engagement with IBM represents a new approach to how enterprise cybersecurity operations can be structured and delivered. The deployment is expected to resolve 60–80% of tickets automatically without analyst intervention, along with 40–60% reduction in MTTR, improved SLA adherence across client accounts, and a meaningful reduction in dependence on large teams.

“We are seeing a decisive shift in how enterprises think about security operations, from reactive and resource-intensive to proactive, intelligent, and autonomous. SkySecure’s Agentic AI SOC is a powerful demonstration of what is possible when AI is embedded at the core of security operations. With a focus on responsible AI, we are working with innovators like SkySecure to redesign the next generation of cybersecurity systems,” said Yukti Punjabi, Director - Ecosystem, IBM India & South Asia.

The threat landscape is evolving and so are the ways in which attackers use artificial intelligence to scale operations. For business leaders, this is not just a technology problem but rather a strategic one. The organisations that will stay ahead are those that are investing in platforms that match attacker speed, especially for real-time detection, unified data visibility, and security operations built to adapt, not just respond. SkySecure's approach reflects exactly this shift, wherein the security landscape is designed for the era of AI-accelerated threats.
