Texas Instruments semiconductors target EVs at electronica India

India’s shift toward clean energy is creating new demands on the electronics powering vehicles, energy systems and industrial equipment. At electronica India 2026, Texas Instruments is showcasing more than 20 live demonstrations aimed at these areas, with power management, sensing and embedded processing at the centre.

The showcase gives a look at where Texas Instruments semiconductors are being applied across electric mobility, sustainable energy and industrial systems. It also comes with a local-market change: eligible Indian customers can now purchase bulk TI orders directly in Indian rupees, including through its backlog channel.

Texas Instruments semiconductors move into smarter vehicles

Electric mobility is making vehicle architectures more complex, and TI is using its demonstrations to show how semiconductor technology can address that complexity.

Its automotive showcase includes a software-defined vehicle central compute setup, zone control modules, a 48V wiper, a GaN-enabled 48V audio amplifier and real-time wheel-speed tracking. TI is also demonstrating a 1V3R solution combining one camera with three radar units for commercial vehicle ADAS applications.

The emphasis is not limited to processing. Power management, battery performance and real-time sensing are being treated as connected parts of the vehicle architecture.

TI electric mobility meets the energy transition

The same focus on efficiency appears in TI’s sustainable-energy demonstrations. A GaN-based 3.6kW single-phase string inverter uses one microcontroller and is designed for high-frequency operation. TI says the platform achieves more than 96.5% efficiency at full power and is intended to support residential solar development.

The company is also demonstrating the Wirepas Platform for large-scale infrastructure IoT deployments. Together, these examples show how sensing, connectivity and power conversion are being brought together across energy infrastructure.
