Zoom is strengthening its leadership in one of its fastest-growing regions. The decision to Zoom appoints Carlos Quaderi as Head of Asia Pacific signals the company's next phase of regional expansion, with a sharper focus on AI, enterprise customers, channel partners and customer experience.

Effective August 1, 2026, Quaderi will oversee Zoom's go-to-market strategy across Australia and New Zealand, Asia, India and Korea, excluding Japan. The move comes as organisations increasingly look for AI-powered platforms that simplify work, connect teams and improve business outcomes instead of relying on standalone productivity tools.

Zoom APAC leadership appointment targets enterprise collaboration platform growth

Quaderi is no stranger to the role. Having previously led Zoom's Asia business, he played a key part in regional strategy, sales execution and market expansion across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan.

His expanded responsibilities now include accelerating growth across enterprise customers, the SMB segment, customer experience solutions and partner channels. Reporting to Chief Sales and Growth Officer Graeme Geddes, Quaderi will continue to work closely with regional and global teams from Singapore.
