Acumatica Hyderabad GCC strengthens global product innovation
Acumatica has opened its Acumatica Hyderabad GCC, marking a new step in the company’s global expansion. Located in Nanakramguda, the Global Capability Centre starts with more than 30 employees, with further hiring planned in the coming months.
The centre will initially focus on engineering. The bigger goal is to build a distributed team that can support product development and innovation for Acumatica customers worldwide.
Hyderabad takes a role in cloud ERP innovation
The Hyderabad centre is designed as an engineering hub where India-based teams can develop products and capabilities for the global market. Acumatica said the move is linked to its wider effort to build a diverse and globally distributed engineering organisation.
For the company, the choice of Hyderabad also reflects the importance of India’s engineering talent and technology ecosystem. The initial team is expected to grow as the centre matures, with scope to add other disciplines over time.
This makes the Hyderabad Capability Centre more than a local delivery office. Based on the company’s stated plans, it is being positioned as part of Acumatica’s longer-term product and engineering strategy.
Acumatica global engineering gets another base
The GCC adds India to Acumatica’s existing operations in the US, Canada, Serbia and Sri Lanka. Its early focus on engineering gives the company another location from which to develop products and capabilities for customers across markets.
Acumatica Chief Engineering Officer Miten Mehta described India as a potential major contributor to the company’s growth, pointing to its engineering talent pool and technology ecosystem.
The move also signals a gradual expansion of the company’s global engineering model rather than a one-time office launch.
ANSR partnership supports GCC expansion
Acumatica established the Hyderabad centre in partnership with Summit Consulting Services, an ANSR company. The partnership brings expertise in capability design, talent strategy and operational scaling to the expansion.
For Acumatica, the immediate focus is clear: establish the engineering base, grow the team and build capabilities that can serve customers globally. The next phase will show how far the Hyderabad GCC can expand beyond its initial engineering mandate.
