Commvault SHIFT 2026 to focus on AI, cyber recovery and resilience

Commvault will host its annual customer and partner conference, Commvault SHIFT 2026, from November 9 to 12 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Centre in Nashville.

This year’s event will focus on the changing requirements for enterprise resilience as organisations adopt AI and move towards more agentic technology environments.

AI is helping enterprises accelerate innovation, automation and decision-making. At the same time, it is creating new risks, including rogue agents, compromised identities and AI-enabled cyberattacks.

Commvault said these changes are making recovery an operational requirement, with continuous resilience becoming a priority for organisations.

SHIFT 2026 focuses on recovery in the AI era

SHIFT 2026 will bring together 60 speakers, including thought leaders, security and AI experts, technologists and practitioners.

The event will focus on how organisations can adopt AI while retaining the ability to roll back and recover quickly when disruption occurs.

The agenda will include live demonstrations, expert sessions, workshops, keynote presentations and partner showcases.

The Recovery Hub will serve as the centre of the event’s show floor. It will feature five distinct villages with live demonstrations of Commvault’s latest offerings, theatres for speaking sessions and workshops, and partner showcases.

More than 50 expert-led sessions will cover areas including Identity Resilience, Cyber Recovery and AI and Data Security. The event will also include hands-on learning opportunities and certification courses.

The speaker programme will include executives and experts representing Databricks, Deloitte, Microsoft and NVIDIA, along with the TIME + Commvault CISO of the Year.

Commvault President and CEO Sanjay Mirchandani, Chief Technology & AI Officer Pranay Ahlawat and Clumio Chief Technology Officer Woon Ho Jung will also deliver keynote sessions.

Partner and customer recognition

SHIFT 2026 will also feature the 2026 Fearless Partner Awards, recognising partners for their work in resilience.

Commvault will also introduce the Commvault Impact Awards for customers using its technology to strengthen resilience, lead with confidence and prepare for future requirements.

Customers can self-nominate for the Impact Awards across four categories:

• Cyber resilience

• Cloud resilience

• Identity resilience

• AI innovation

The nomination deadline is October 2.

For Commvault, the focus of SHIFT 2026 reflects the changing relationship between AI adoption and enterprise resilience. As organisations introduce AI into more areas of their operations, the ability to recover from disruption becomes part of the broader technology strategy.

The four-day conference is therefore positioned around a practical question for enterprise technology teams: how can organisations adopt AI while maintaining the ability to recover quickly when systems, identities or data are compromised?
