CrowdStrike expands Project QuiltWorks to SMBs

As frontier AI makes sophisticated cyberattacks easier to launch, CrowdStrike is widening the reach of Project QuiltWorks to organisations of all sizes. The move brings AI-driven vulnerability discovery, expert-led remediation and financial protection to SMBs through distributors, cloud marketplaces and channel partners.
The expansion is aimed at a growing gap in cybersecurity. Smaller businesses often lack the security teams, expertise and resources needed to operationalise advanced protection. CrowdStrike is now using its partner ecosystem to make the QuiltWorks framework available to this market.
Channel partners take QuiltWorks down market
Arrow Electronics, Ignition Technology, Nord Security, Pax8, TD SYNNEX, Westcon-Comstor and Zip Security are supporting the expansion. Their partner, MSP and MSSP networks will help extend AI vulnerability discovery, prioritisation and remediation capabilities to SMB customers.
The approach also creates a new opportunity for partners. The companies involved can build managed security services around the Falcon platform, while helping customers address risks linked to frontier AI.
For CrowdStrike, the channel is central to making this model work at scale. Its stated aim is to give organisations access to advanced security capabilities regardless of their size, sector or geography.
Frontier AI changes the security challenge
The announcement comes as advanced AI models make it easier for attackers to identify and exploit vulnerabilities at machine speed and scale. Project QuiltWorks combines CrowdStrike’s AI-driven vulnerability discovery and adversary-informed prioritisation with remediation services, cloud infrastructure from AWS and financial protection from cyber insurance providers.
That combination is important for SMBs because the challenge is not simply finding vulnerabilities. They also need the expertise and resources to decide what matters, fix it and manage the resulting cyber risk.
