Dell Technologies has unveiled its expanded consumer portfolio in India, introducing the redesigned XPS 13, the Dell 14S and 16S AI-ready laptops, and the Alienware 15 gaming system. Positioned to meet the computing demands of students, young professionals, creators, and esports enthusiasts, the launch makes Dell's premium design accessible to broader market segments, with pricing starting at Rs. 79,990.

The lineup addresses an evolution in India's consumer hardware landscape. As local users seek devices capable of supporting hybrid work, creative content workflows, and local AI processing, the demand for high-performance laptops with dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs) and robust graphical power is growing rapidly across both metro centres and Tier-II/III cities.

The New XPS 13: Premium Craftsmanship at a Mainstream Entry Point

The flagship XPS 13 delivers a lightweight form factor without sacrificing structural durability or computational capability. Housed inside a CNC-machined aluminium chassis, the ultra-portable laptop measures 12.7mm thin and weighs 1 kilogram.

Dell 14S & 16S: AI-Driven Performance with 50 TOPS NPUs

Engineered for users managing intensive daily workloads, the Dell 14S and Dell 16S introduce hardware-accelerated AI computing powered by Series 3 Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors.

  • NPU Acceleration: Equipped with integrated NPUs capable of up to50 TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second) to handle local AI generation, live background isolation, and predictive system tuning.

  • Graphics & Display: The Dell 16S (configured with the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H) achieves 55% higher graphics performance over previous generations in 3DMark benchmark testing. Displays range from FHD+ OLED touch on the 14S to a 2.8K OLED touch panel on the 16S with 120Hz refresh rates and Dolby Vision support.

  • Display & Form Factor: Features a 15.3-inch WUXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio inside a 2.25kg polycarbonate resin chassis in Nova Black finish.

  • Resilience & Features: Tested to withstand accidental liquid spills of up to 60ml and drop impacts of up to 18 inches. Includes a dedicated Stealth Mode key to instantly dim RGB lighting and lower fan acoustics during lectures or office hours.

Omnichannel Availability & Market Strategy

Dell is deploying an omnichannel distribution campaign to reach consumers across metro centres and expanding Tier-II and Tier-III markets. The products will be distributed across Dellstore.com, over 500 Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), large-format retail partners like Reliance Digital, and multi-brand outlets spanning 400 cities.
