Deloitte SAP AI hub Bengaluru opens a new AI chapter

Enterprise technology transformation is moving beyond traditional system upgrades. Businesses are now looking for smarter ways to combine cloud, AI and automation to improve operations. Deloitte SAP AI hub Bengaluru has been launched with this vision, bringing together SAP delivery capabilities, AI expertise and innovation support under one dedicated centre.
The new Deloitte India SAP Delivery Centre Bengaluru is designed to support SAP transformation priorities and help enterprises accelerate cloud adoption, intelligent automation and AI-powered business transformation. The centre will focus on helping organisations move from legacy environments towards more flexible and future-ready operating models.
Building a stronger foundation for SAP-led innovation
The new centre represents one of Deloitte’s strategic SAP-focused delivery initiatives in India. It will support SAP and joint customers across the complete transformation lifecycle, covering areas such as innovation, architecture, engineering, implementation and managed evolution.
The focus is not only on technology deployment but also on helping organisations simplify complex transformation journeys. Through advanced engineering capabilities and specialised AI talent, the centre aims to support businesses as they modernise systems and unlock value from emerging technologies.
The centre will be supported by an ecosystem of more than 1,000 professionals across India. Deloitte also plans to expand this capability by adding around 300 to 500 specialised AI professionals over the next 12 to 24 months.
AI becomes a key part of SAP enterprise workflows
A major focus area of the initiative is AI-driven transformation. The centre will build capabilities around generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning, cloud architecture, data engineering and intelligent automation.
Agentic AI for SAP enterprise workflows is expected to play an important role in helping organisations explore new ways of improving business processes. The centre will also work on developing scalable assets, frameworks and accelerators that can support faster transformation.
The idea is to create a space where technology teams and business users can experiment with AI solutions, test ideas and develop practical use cases.
Creating space for AI experimentation
The Deloitte AI Command Centre Lab Bengaluru is a key part of the centre’s innovation approach. The AI prototyping lab is designed to make experimentation easier by providing access to tools, mentorship and collaborative development environments.
The lab will support users across technical and business functions in turning ideas into working solutions. This approach reflects the growing need for enterprises to move beyond AI discussions and focus on practical implementation.
Sathish Gopalaiah, President, Consulting Businesses, Deloitte South Asia, said, “The Deloitte–SAP Delivery Centre underscores our shared commitment to driving innovation through AI, cloud and advanced technologies. As organisations accelerate digital transformation, this centre will catalyze developing next-generation solutions, enabling SAP and our joint clients to harness emerging technologies, scale innovation and deliver differentiated, technology-led outcomes globally.”
What this means for enterprise transformation
The launch of the Deloitte SAP AI hub Bengaluru highlights how AI is becoming closely connected with enterprise application modernisation. Businesses are increasingly looking for platforms where cloud, automation and intelligent technologies can work together.
By combining SAP delivery expertise with AI-focused innovation, the centre aims to help organisations build more adaptable technology environments. The larger shift is clear — enterprise transformation is moving towards models where experimentation, engineering and AI adoption happen together.
