Epson EcoTank L5390 Signals a New Print Push

The launch of the Epson EcoTank L5390 alongside 14 additional EcoTank models highlights Epson India’s continued focus on improving everyday printing experiences through practical upgrades rather than dramatic redesigns. The new portfolio introduces enhancements in speed, durability, maintenance, and usability, reflecting changing expectations among home users, students, businesses, and enterprise customers looking for dependable and cost-effective printing solutions.

The announcement comes as Epson strengthens its position in the Indian inkjet printer market. Having sold more than eight million inkjet printers since launch and crossing one million EcoTank printer sales during FY25 alone, the company is responding to sustained demand with a refreshed range designed to improve productivity while keeping operating costs under control.

Small improvements with a wider business impact

A closer look at the new EcoTank lineup shows a clear focus on reducing ownership complexity. The refreshed printers offer a more compact design, print speeds of up to 11 images per minute in black and 6 images per minute in colour, and ink yields reaching 4,700 black pages and 7,500 colour pages. These enhancements are aimed at helping users print more while reducing interruptions and consumable replacement frequency.

The Epson EcoTank L5390 sits among the most feature-rich additions in the portfolio. It includes a 1.44-inch colour LCD display, Automatic Document Feeder functionality, and Ethernet connectivity. Another notable addition across the lineup is the user-replaceable maintenance box. The Epson user-replaceable maintenance box yields up to 35,000 sheets is designed to simplify upkeep and minimize service dependency, a factor that can directly influence operational efficiency.

A strategy built around long-term value

Beyond product specifications, the launch reflects Epson’s broader effort to balance performance with ease of ownership. Enhanced warranty coverage of up to one year or 50,000 pages, whichever comes earlier, further supports this approach. Features such as wireless connectivity and support through the Epson Smart Panel app setup wireless experience also align with growing expectations for convenience and streamlined device management.

With prices ranging from Rs. 13,999 to Rs. 24,999, the new portfolio targets a wide spectrum of users while maintaining a consistent focus on productivity and reliability. The Epson EcoTank L5390 ultimately represents more than a single product launch. It serves as a marker of Epson’s strategy to strengthen its EcoTank ecosystem through practical innovations that address everyday printing challenges while supporting the company’s growing presence in the Indian market.
