ESDS Launches Swaraj Nandi to Strengthen India's Cybersecurity Vision

India's push for digital sovereignty is increasingly moving beyond cloud infrastructure and into enterprise cybersecurity. ESDS Launches Swaraj Nandi alongside Swaraj Hansa, introducing two indigenous security platforms designed to solve some of the biggest challenges enterprises face today: controlling privileged access and responding to cyber threats before they escalate.

Rather than announcing standalone products, ESDS is positioning both platforms as part of a broader strategy to build enterprise technology that is engineered, owned, and supported entirely in India. The launch expands the company's growing Swaraj portfolio, which already includes Swaraj AIOPS, Swaraj Garuda, and Swaraj Jatayoo.

Tackling Two Common Enterprise Security Gaps

The announcement focuses on two persistent weaknesses in enterprise security. The first is privileged access, where unmanaged credentials and poor visibility can expose critical infrastructure. The second is security operations, where teams often struggle to identify genuine threats among thousands of alerts.

According to ESDS, these issues become even more significant as organisations face stricter compliance requirements from regulators such as RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, PCI-DSS, and the DPDP Act. The company argues that enterprises now need continuous visibility, stronger governance, and auditable controls rather than relying on manual processes or trust-based access.

Swaraj Nandi Brings Zero Trust to Privileged Access

At the centre of the launch is ESDS Launches Swaraj Nandi, a Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform built for organisations that need tighter control over sensitive systems.

The platform automatically stores and rotates privileged credentials, including administrator passwords, API keys, SSH keys, and database credentials. Every privileged session requires explicit approval with multi-factor authentication, while detailed session recordings create searchable audit trails. ESDS also says behavioural analytics can detect unusual commands before they lead to security incidents.

Designed for on-premise and private cloud deployments, Swaraj Nandi operates without depending on foreign cloud infrastructure, reinforcing the company's focus on digital sovereignty.

Swaraj Hansa Focuses on Faster Threat Response

While Swaraj Nandi governs access, Swaraj Hansa addresses another growing problem: alert fatigue inside security operations centres.

The AI-powered SIEM platform was originally developed within ESDS's own security operations centre before being commercialised. Instead of simply generating alerts, Swaraj Hansa explains why each alert was triggered, helping analysts make faster decisions. The platform also simplifies onboarding new data sources with a largely no-code approach and automates repetitive reporting tasks.

ESDS says Swaraj Hansa supports standalone deployments, including air-gapped environments and private clouds, making it suitable for organisations with strict data sovereignty requirements.

A Broader Investment in Indigenous Enterprise Technology

The launch event also highlighted the wider significance of building cybersecurity products within India. Company executives and industry representatives linked indigenous technology development to India's long-term digital infrastructure goals.

ESDS says both platforms have been designed to align with major regulatory frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, RBI guidelines, SEBI's CSCRF, PCI-DSS v4.0, and the DPDP Act. The company believes this reduces the need for organisations to build separate compliance infrastructure while supporting governance and audit requirements.
