Hitachi Vantara, the data storage, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud management subsidiary of Hitachi, has concluded its annual Partner Summit 2026. The three-day corporate event, held from June 3 to June 5 at The Westin Rishikesh, gathered approximately 80 prominent channel partners and distributors from across India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. Under the foundational theme "Dream, Discipline and Determination," the summit served as a strategic platform to align regional ecosystem capabilities with emerging AI-driven market demands and data centre modernisation requirements.
The regional gathering focused extensively on navigating structural challenges associated with multi-cloud scaling, high-density data storage compliance, and modernising enterprise infrastructure layers.
Strategic Acceleration of Midrange Systems and Market Penetration
A core component finalised during the event is the continuation and expansion of Hitachi Vantara's localised partner enablement strategy across the Indian subcontinent. The framework establishes specialised investments engineered to accelerate new customer acquisition pipelines, with a deliberate emphasis on driving commercial demand for the brand’s midrange storage and data infrastructure portfolios.
To streamline the transaction cycle for system integrators and distributors, the program introduces modified operational mechanisms:
Simplified Engagement Channels: Reducing administrative complexity within the registration and deal-vouching pipelines.
Enhanced Digital Marketing Support: Supplying co-branded, localised collateral arrays to target regional enterprise clusters.
Expanded Regional Enablement: Deploying dedicated technical workshops and hands-on simulation modules to upscale on-ground sales and engineering proficiency.
Concurrently, the manufacturer hosted the third annual iteration of its exclusive Partner Advisory Board forum. The closed-door board convened twelve elected partner executive officers to engage with global leadership, providing structured market input to shape future product innovation priorities, corporate incentive designs, and ecosystem collaboration frameworks.
“India and the SAARC region stand at the forefront of one of the most significant waves of AI-driven transformation we've seen, and our partners are the force multiplying that momentum,” stated Hemant Tiwari, Managing Director and Vice President for India and SAARC Region, Hitachi Vantara. “At Hitachi Vantara, our commitment goes beyond technology; we are here to co-create, co-invest, and grow alongside our partners as they help customers harness the power of data to build smarter, more resilient businesses.”
Darsshan Somaiya, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances for India and SAARC at Hitachi Vantara, reinforced the baseline positioning of the summit:
“The theme of Dream, Discipline and Determination is the foundation on which we're building a stronger, more resilient partner ecosystem across India and SAARC. This summit was about giving our partners the AI-ready tools, incentives and the confidence to lead boldly in their markets.”
Fiscal Year 2025 Partner Ecosystem Excellence Awards
The summit concluded with its annual awards ceremony, certifying outstanding operational performance, specialised technical integration execution, and volume distribution achievements completed during Fiscal Year 2025 across regional business tiers.
